The Geological Survey of Western Australia at the Department of Mines, Industry Regulation and Safety makes state-wide compilations of geophysical datasets from large regional surveys commissioned by the State and Federal governments as well as from private company surveys submitted to DMIRS in compliance with legislation. Some of these compilations and constituent datasets are very large. The Pawsey data store provides a convenient and highly accessible location for access to these datasets by researchers in industry, academic institutions and other government agencies.
