Our project is based on the Parkinson's Progression Markers Initiative (PPMI) that is an international longitudinal effort to analyse the natural course of the Parkinson's disease. PPMI collected genomic DNA and blood RNAs samples from 1200 subjects to identify genomic markers that are related to the pathogenesis of the Parkinson's disease. Analysis of these markers would identify the ones that are informative for disease diagnostics and these that are informative for disease progression prediction or for drug development. PPMI project was funded by Michael J Fox Foundation (http://www.michaeljfox.org). Dataset contain while genome sequencing data of 1200 subjects and whole transcriptome from the same number of subject for 4 time points, that makes it 4800 samples altogether.
