Gorgon OBN Seismic Survey

Between 2015 and 2016, Chevron Australia and its partners collected Australia's first ocean bottom seismic survey approximately 130 km offshore Barrow island over a total area of 450 km^2. In this survey, over 3000 recorder points were used with over 600K source points. Recorders were operated continuously during the survey. In this project, we look at the passive and active parts of the seismic data to characterise the subsurface in 4D. The funding is provided from the existing internal funding of Deep Earth Imaging, Future Science Platform of CSIRO.
